Our holiday weekend was typical for our family; a little home improvement, a little lazy time and little party. Saturday Ryan re-kicked our bedroom carpet, which meant we had to move all of our furniture out first. At least I got to deep clean all the nooks and crannies. Sunday we cooked out with Kristi, then headed to Pasadena and Kent Island for some night life with friends, thanks to Jason and Laura who kept Christopher for us. We spent Sunday night in Bayside. On Monday we relaxed, spent time with Christopher, then Ryan and Dad went Rock fishing. I can't believe summer is almost over. whine whine.

"Make sure you get it good and tight Dad."The following pictures are Christopher enjoying his toys on the floor. Lately Christopher has been able to play alone on the floor for several minutes, entertaining himself. This allows me to get some things done around the house. On Monday, Ryan and I got down and played with him for a good while. I love watching him play and learn new things about his toys and his surrounding. I marvel at his development and enjoy watching the wheels in his head turn. He is amazing.

Sounds like a good weekend! Christopher is getting so big! We need to get together again soon.
